If it's too good to be true - stay away!
That's a simple way to avoid the large quantity of inferior skateboard products sold at discount stores, sporting goods stores and toy stores. These poorly made skateboards sell for $25 or less because they are made from low-quality parts. These parts will fail and likely do so at the worst possible time - often resulting in injury.
Support your local skate shop by purchasing quality products from them. This helps them maintain their business and sends a message to discount box-stores that real skaters won't settle for cheap crappy skateboards or equipment. Skate or die!
Skate global - shop local!
