Being clueless enough to buy a $20 skateboard - and thinking you've found a bargain - must be a great state of mind to exist in. From there you could buy a $100 car to drive and park it at your brand new $500 house. Wow! What bargains!
"Why doesn't everyone live like this?"
Get a clue!
Its because we're all smart enough to discern a bargain from a piece of junk. If you're not buying skateboard equipment from your local skate shop, you may be purchasing inferior crap that will break and cause injury.
Help these clueless drones and downloading these SYLSS "Crappy Skateboard" WARNING LABELS (4-up PDF files) and stick 'em on those crappy products you encounter.
Only independent skateboard shops sell quality products that won't break or fall apart in the first 10 minutes of use. Boards purchased from crappy department stores and gluttonous box-stores are unsafe and will usually result in unnecessary injuries.
Clue-in and buy from your local skate shop. They are the only ones who care about you and ensuring you get high quality equipment. Department stores and sporting goods stores only want your money. Independent skate shops want to keep you as a customer by helping you get the best products available.
