Staring:
Bam Margera, Phil Margera, Ryan Dunn, Chris Raab, April Margera, Brandon Dicamillo, Vincent Margera, Tim Glomb, Rake Yohn, Jennifer Rivell, Brandon Novak, Tim O'Conner, Donny Barley, Compton Ass Terry, Tony Hawk, Kenny Hughes, Jimmy Pop, Jason Ellis, Geoff Rowley, Jess Margera, Jared Hasselhoff, The Bloodhound Gang, Mark Hanna, Ville Valo, Mike Vallely, Chad Ginsburg, Deron Miller.
When Bam's show first appeared on Mtv, I had no desire to see it. All their shows suck (except Beavis and Butthead), so why bother? Besides I'd seen Jackass and they couldn't pull stuff like that on TV. Worst of all, I can't stand it when they censor foul language with beeps and crap - annoying.
I can't say anything about the TV version, but the DVD is pretty cool. I figured each episode would deal with a single theme in which this PA self-made rich-kid torments his parents. I was way off. This show is a hell of a lot of fun and very well done. They don't dwell on the set-ups. They fill you in and then let you catch all the disastrous outcomes.
Does anyone remember when the "M" in Mtv stood for Music? I guess the tv part still means television, but what happened to the damn music? They just play reality TV stuff 24/7.
From getting Raab to marry a Russian mail-order bride to filling his parent's house with skate ramps, he's done it all and doesn't seem to run out of ideas. The town of West Chester will probably run out of patience first. I often wonder if this whole thing has any reality to it. Large parts are obviously scripted - you can't assemble a camera crew spontaneously. I wonder if that house isn't a front or something. Do his parents really live there - with all that weird crap going on?
Whatever the reality, it's a damn funny show and it's not censored on the DVD.
