Clash at Clairemont celebrates 3 generations of half pipe skating w/ Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog Sonic Generations of Skate This year The Clash at Clairemont 7 will feature the Sonic Generations of Skate presented by Sonic Lost World! This offbeat team competition format celebrates three generations of half-pipe skateboarding over the past decades.

Each Team consists of one 40-something skater (first generation), One 30-something skater (second generation) and one 20- something or younger skater (third generation) competing against the other teams with the same mix of skaters..

Sonic Lost World for Wii U You have to like a skate competition that so thoroughly celebrates age and the best terrain skateboarding has ever seen - half pipes!

The Sonic Generations of Skate is promoting the upcoming action-adventure platformer in the Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games, Sonic Lost World. It is being developed by Sonic Team and will be released by Sega exclusively for Nintendo's Wii U and Nintendo 3DS platforms in late 2013.

Legends of skateboarding compete in a completely unique team competition that celebrates three generations of vert skating. Each team consists of one 1st generation, one 2nd generation, and one 3rd generation vert skater competing together on the actual half-pipe from the X Games.

Four different competitions take place in which the teams battle against each other for the most points. These include individual runs, high air, doubles, and best trick.

The event is being produced to raise money for Grind For Life, an organization dedicated to providing financial assistance and overall support for children stricken with cancer.
