Thrasher videos are known for fast-paced manic skateboarding and Beer Slave is right on target. Rider after rider is showcased as the metal soundtrack blares. One departure is the identification of riders as they appear on screen. Thrasher has always been really good about giving credit as so many skaters are deftly placed into each minute of video. You'll have to figure out who's who from the long list of credits at the end.

Who hasn't been a slave to beer?
That illustrious beverage that makes sense of then nonsensical and relieves one of the need to be rational, wise or thoughtful. Many a plan has been hatched around a table full of empties and it's a liquid elixir that fuels fun!

Many video releases follow a formula of one sort or another and eventually it gets stale. Thrasher's formula of hard, fast and full bore never ceases to amaze. The entire "beer" series of videos each have a unique tie-in with the magic drink that neither annoy or detract. You just can't go wrong with a Thrasher video. With a runtime of 45 minutes and a wealth of bonus features too, this is a great flick.

Beer Slave features music from: Nihilist, Bad Shit, The VeeBees, Walken, Bison, Sweet Cobra, Dirty & the donuts, The Black Clouds and Grindline the band.

On your way back from the convenience store with a cold case of brew, drop into your local skate shop and snag a copy of Beer Slave. It'll make your next rainy day kick-ass!
