Chlorine is a documentary that covers all of the aspects of backyard pool skating as it is today, from driving around, jumping fences, draining pools, getting busted and features skating from pool skating's greats.
Shot over two years, this highly anticipated pool skating documentary, Chlorine will be released early June 2003. Developer and distributor, Rise Above Entertainment, is proud to present a movie whose trailer is the buzz at trade shows and parties all over southern California including Steve Alba's recent birthday bash.
It does my heart good to see Steve Cabellero yank a generator from the back of his truck and plug in a pump to drain the next pool session. It blows my mind that he and Tony Alva and Steve Olsen are still emptying pools and skating like they did years earlier. It should inspire the older generation that life doesn't force you to grow up and cast aside your passions... it cements their importance in your mind and daily plan.
Filmed as a documentary, Chlorine features many interviews along with amazing footage from yesterday and today. Buy this disc!
