I'll start off by saying you should drop whatever is is you're doing (unless you're in surgery) and snag a copy of Epicly Later'd! Yeah, it is that good!

I've griped about "reality TV" and how no one really gets it right when it comes to skateboarding. I have to say "Rob & Big did a great job, but Epicly Later'd really zeros in on what I want from skate reality TV - some reality and skateboarding! Each episode focuses on one pro skater although a few episodes combine skaters as they relate to each other. They caught up with Hosoi and Gonz at an art expo. But it's all about the skater and the skateboarding.

Hosted & Prduced by Patrick O'Dell, Epicly Later'd doessn't try to be a skate video showing trick after trick. This two-disc set delves into each skater as a person and shows footage as it relates to the topic they're discussing. It's truly a brilliant format that I hope will continue to evolve. Skaters are people too and they do a lot of cool stuff even when they aren't skateboarding. Finally, someone has come along and realized that these pro's lives are worth documenting both on and off their boards.
