The Kids in Emerica tour was a year-long series of domestic and international skateboard tours occurring after the release of "This is Skateboarding" in 2003. Don't mistake this as the usual "tour" DVD - it isn't. This one is actually very good. You feel as though you're watching skaters doing what they love rather than seeing endless loops of the team hitting the same fun-box at some anonymous indoor park.

Highlights include Townend eating a ton of burgers until he pukes, Kirchart throwing some huge backside 360 grabs over near-vertical hips and Reynolds teaching the world why his team mates call him "The Boss". You know... other than Bruce Springsteen, you don't really hear anyone touting themselves as Boss. Unless you're at work and the girl from Human Resources tells you that your boss wants you to stop masturbating under your desk - but that's a different context, I guess.

With an all-skate, no-talk policy enforced, you'll see the obligatory park-demo footage, but there's also some good street skating mixed in. Although short (just under 30 minutes), there's plenty of footy to make you haul cash from your wallet and yell, "Gimme!" at your local shop.

Go buy this DVD!
