This indy flick from Washington, DC is 30 minutes, but it's 30 minutes of pure skate-joy and exhilaration. Out Of The Box is one of those feel-good skateboard videos that stokes you up and makes you want to go out and skate. That's a tough feat these days. Everyone thinks they've seen it all.

I'm not saying Out of the Box supplants every other skate vid, but fueled by a classic rock soundtrack, great skating and a fresh perspective, this is a hard film to beat. Charlie Church & Andy Pribulka spent 2 years making this flick and it shows. It was filmed primarily in DC, but New York City, Philadelphia, Richmond, and Baltimore make appearances.

Don't kill it at the credits because there's a lot of bonus stuff, some of which rolls after the credits.

You might not find it at your local shop (unless you live in DC) and certainly not at the big mail-order joints, but it's worth seeking out. Do that Google thing - you'll find it.
