Originally released on VHS in 1999, Scorchin' Summer is part of Thrasher Magazine's Skate Video Collection which consists of their first 18 videos.

Get ready for another fast-paced romp through skateboarding's A-list. but wait - there are sections and parts! What? That's right. Thrasher has maintained their formula for skate chaos, but also managed to organize it into a few parts. After all, this is the last summer of the century. Next time you're bitching abut the summer heat you can also discuss all the Y2K foibles and mishaps.

POOLS features all the cement, ceramic tile and bloodshed for an enjoyable watch. WOOD features ½ pipe and park action with some rider-wood mixed in for those who like that sort of thing (not us).

Diego Bucchieri, Tim Achille and Jeremiah Babb both had rider parts which is a large diversion from the Thrasher vid format. Cruise through Europe via Bristol, Livingston, Switzerland, Munster, Spain, Italy and Marseille. there's a look at the Ashland and Talen skateparks in Oregon before they set out to chart skatepark territory at Alameda, Montrose, Scottsdale, Salinas and Visalia.

You can't escape slams in skateboarding - or in sk8 videos. Scorchin' Summer has a heft quantity of crunchy slams which rounds out a very cool flick. Add beer and you're all set.
