My local skate shop, Boarding house in Hyannis, MA, always hooks me up with great stuff including promo DVDs. The last one they got was the Sk8Mafia Am DVD. To my surprise, its a full length (and then some) dvd clocking in at 45 minutes, complete with bonus features. Cool deal - free!

This is a great DVD that showcases a lot of talent. Don't be fooled by the price (Free) this disc would easily compete with the discs sitting on the shelf at your local shop. I love the soundtrack. Many of the parts came from the days when hardcore rap was really hardcore. Think - Ice-T and NWA. Rap today is a sad departure from days when hardcore stood the test. I don't want to hear gripes about big asses and money.

Larelle Gray skats to Ice-T's "Colors", The friends section sits atop NWA's "100 Miles n Running". Kellen James rides to Ice-T's "New Jack Hustler". Don't shut it off when the credits roll. There's another 15 minutes of footage from random stuff to rider parts. Find a copy of this disc or burn it from a friend. If your shop and friends don't have it - Move to a new town!
