Pig Wood's first video release, Slaughterhouse, features their first pro rider, Anthony "Ragdoll" Scalamere, riding alongside the Pig Wood Ams. I've hear a lot of bitching about this DVD. The time has come to squelch that crap! This is an amazing DVD and everyone who has complained about should be on the receiving end of some painful prison-style anal rape.

I'll even take that one step further. Ragdoll has to be the most under-rated skater out there. This guy is amazing to watch and he alone makes this DVD incredible. He always throws in just-one-more maneuver every time I think he's run out of momentum to pull off something else. He's so damn quick to see how another trick can be compressed into a run.

Slash had an insane run as well. This guy looked a helluva lot like Ragdoll, but I guess he's not. I'm a bit tired of people with odd monikers. OK, I'm not gonna bitch about Anthony's Ragdoll thing, he rips too much, but Lizard King is another moniker that rather pisses me off. Can't explain it - maybe I'm just in a pissed off mood. Sorry d00d.

Sammy Baca delivers a fast, aggressive part that's totally sick. Well edited and crafted in post to pump up the energy. And he plays AC/DC's "Rocker" during his session. Very cool!

Outside the skating, a security guard tries to nail Ragdoll with pepper spray which he finds rather unbelievable. He posed no threat and the fake-cop just spritzes him as he rides by. They ask the cameraman to stop filming and he says, "No way. It's my job." Gotta like that. He films Ragdoll on a wall ride and they jet.

This is a great DVd and screw all the haters who seem to have a few things to vent over. Maybe Daddy didn't love you enough... or front the cash to buy Slaughterhouse.
