There are two groups who will stop and wonder about this video and its star, Jason Lee. One camp will ask, "Isn't that the guy from that 1995 Kevin Smith movie, Mallrats?" The other will wonder, "Didn't Jason Lee used to be a pro in the mid 80's?" Of course there will be those who've heard of neither and still wonder where the East Coast is located.

I just think its cool as hell to see Lee resurrect his old skate company and start riding again. After a successful career as an actor, he can pretty much afford to do as he pleases - glad he went back to skating.

This super 8 and 16mm extravaganza was shot during a 3 week road trip to London, Paris and New York. The film's soundtrack features Bella Union's Midlake, and previously unreleased tracks from Truth and Soul records. There is a bonus section containing extra skating footage, along with Midlake video that Jason Lee directed for the song "Ballon Maker", which will be featured in "Way Out East". This will be a classic roadtrip film stylized with the timeless Stereo touch.
