The profile of Chad Otterstrom recants his woes of working at Walmart on the graveyard shift, got a few hours sleep and got up to go riding. He also skates. The Spot Check features Mt. Baker in WA then we jet across the country to Stratton, VT for the US Open 2001.
The Main Event is the opening of Aspen, CO's Ajax to snowboarding. Remember the days when many resorts did NOT allow snowboarding. Hard to imagine. Now they rely on riders to round out their yearly earnings on the hill. On The Edge features Sean Tedore who also likes go-cart racing. Um... OK. Then we get a Day In The Life with Kevin Jones.

The idea was to create the pro skater as a sought after celebrity, so 60 chicks are screaming and chasing after him as he skates. He has to hit the 12-stair to escape them.
